This listing is for 100% wool yarn to use for your rug hooking or punch needle projects. This wool is manufactured by Briggs & Little of Canada.

Use this bulky weight yarn like you would wool fabric strips - comparable to a roughly 5/32" wide fabric strip or can be hooked double ply to cover more area! I use this yarn to achieve beautiful textures within my rug hooking projects. Great for fields, animals, flower patches, backgrounds and more! This yarn is also suitable for whipping edges or creating fringe or adding textural embellishments.

This skein is available as a full skein or 1/2 a skein. A full skein weighs 4oz and measures 85 yards and 1/2 skein is 2oz or 42 yards. The 1/2 skein is cut and knotted in the middle.

This roving yarn may also be used for felting, crocheting, knitting projects but please note that I do not have technical tips or troubleshooting guides on using this wool for these processes, since I am a rug hooker only! : )
