This listing is for roughly 2 ounce of 100% wool roving/fleece to use for your rug hooking projects. Just tear apart this roving into 1/4 inch wide pieces of fluff and hook like you would normally use yarn or wool fabric strips (see last listing photos for demonstration). I use this roving to achieve beautiful textures within my rug hooking projects. Great for hair, animals, flower patches, backgrounds and more!

This top roving is a natural color from Shep's and is described as:

Made from a variety of breeds in eastern half of the United States.

Staple length 2.5-3.5 inches (60-70 mm).

Fiber count 54-56s (26-28 micron)

This item is shipped from a non-smoking, non-pet studio and will come in a poly mailing bag.

This roving may also be used for your felting or spinning projects but please note that I do not have technical tips or troubleshooting guides on using this wool for these processes, since I am a rug hooker only! : )
